Sociology Major
The Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology provides majors with broad exposure to the scientific study of social life, social change and the social causes and consequences of human behavior. Anthropology Major
The Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology provides students with a global and comparative understanding of human biological and cultural diversity. Certificate
The Cultural Sustainability Certificate provides undergraduate students and non-degree-seeking students an opportunity to gain a deep understanding of how culture intersects with conceptualizations of sustainability. Read more here.
Minors
Many students at the College of Charleston complement their majors by completing one or more academic minors. A minor in Sociology or Anthropology requires students to complete 18 hours of coursework in the respective program. Refer to the requirements for each minor in the below links:
